The wait is over, and the 2024-25 season has officially begun! We are thrilled to launch the season with the Triple A Masters Tournament, held at the San Roque Golf & Resort. This opening tournament set the tone for what promises to be an exhilarating year of Elite junior golf competition.
A World-Class Tournament for Aspiring Champions
The Triple A Masters is not just any tournament—it is setting the tone of our tournament series which will be held from now until April. It is the opportunity for the best junior golfers to prove themselves. As part of our Triple A World Junior Series, this event is recognised on the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), giving participants a unique opportunity to earn vital points and build their ranking early in the season.
Unmatched Competition
This year’s field is packed with junior golfers representing various countries, all bringing their A-game to the course. Players will have to navigate the challenging yet beautiful layout of the San Roque Golf & Resort, showcasing exceptional skill and determination.
Highlights of Day 1
On the U21 Boys category, Fernando Sanchez, Student of the Jason Floyd Golf Academy, shot a 67 to be leader by 3 on 5 under par on day 1. This 67 was accompanied by two eagles on the back 9, holing out from 55 yards on hole 12, and this putt on the par 5 17th to cement his place at the top of the leaderboard.
Currently leading the girls’ leaderboard is Julia Gelma, posting an impressive round of 72. Close behind are Marie Witzmann and Sveva Gherardi, both with strong scores of 73. As we head into Round 2 today, the competition is heating up, and with the wind picking up, the course promises to present even more of a challenge for the players
