Today marks the launch of the first round of the Atlantic Youth Trophy at Penha Longa Resort.
After competing in the Portuguese Intercollegiate Open, where JFGA Triple A students Maria Khristenko and Rijk Van Boxel both won 2nd place in the U14 categories, the Tournament Travel Squad are ready to take on their second tournament at this beautiful but challenging course.
The Atlantic Youth Trophy Golf Tournament: A Premier Event for Emerging Talents
Golf is one of the most popular sports in the world, and the Atlantic Youth Trophy Golf Tournament is one of the premier events for young golfers looking to showcase their skills and compete against the best in their age group. Held annually, this tournament provides a unique platform for emerging talents to test their abilities, gain valuable experience, and pursue their golfing dreams. The Tournament Travel Squad trip to Penha Longa is also an excellent opportunity for students to bond and increase their golfing experience outside of the academy and school environment under the mentoring of the Jason Floyd Golf Academy team.
The tournament features a series of challenging rounds over several days, with participants competing in various categories based on age, skill level, and gender. Whether you are an amateur or a seasoned golfer, the Atlantic Youth Trophy provides an opportunity for our Tournament Travel Squad to test their skills against other talented players and to develop their game under the guidance of JFGA’s experienced team, who will be providing coaching and training in student’s Technical, Physical and Mental abilities.
The Atlantic Youth Trophy Golf Tournament is a fantastic WAGR event and we wish our students on the Tournament Travel Squad the best of luck over the next three days! Make sure to follow our instagram @jasonfloydgolfacademy where you will be able to find highlights, interviews and much more coverage of this amazing experience for our Junior Golfers.
