JFGA Scholarships College Series
The 2023–2024 JFGA Scholarships College Series was introduced earlier this year in order to prepare JFGA students to make them college-ready. The format for the JFGA College Series was earned through qualification for the regional and national match play phases through a series of stroke play tournaments in which NCAA tournament guidelines were utilised, such as course length and team structure. Each player went through qualifying to represent their team. The teams competed in three tournaments throughout the regular season. In each event, players had to qualify for their teams, with only five players representing their college in the official tournament round, with the four best scores out of the 5-player team counting for the teams’ aggregate score.
In the final, the runners-up from each division, University of Alabama and Oklahoma State University, squared off. Every match was tightly contested, keeping the outcome uncertain until the ninth hole. Ultimately, the University of Alabama clinched a commanding victory, with Joel, Konrad, Francisco, and Trian all emerging victorious in their matches. Lasse contributed the lone point for Oklahoma State University.
