The 2025 Triple A European Masters concluded in style at San Roque Golf & Resort, with two of our Elite students from the Jason Floyd Golf Academy claiming titles in both the Boys’ and Girls’ categories. A proud moment for the Academy, these results are a testament to the dedication, resilience, and professional development of our players.

🏆 U21 Girls Champion: Maria Khristenko

Our A1 student, Maria Khristenko, capped off four years of consistent work at JFGA with a breakthrough victory in the U21 Girls category. Maria’s steady progression over the past season has seen her regularly contend at the top of leaderboards, and this week her perseverance paid off.

  • Scores: 74, 74, 75
  • Birdies: 3 (Rd 1), 3 (Rd 2), 1 (Rd 3)

Her composed performance across all three rounds highlighted her ability to manage both course conditions and tournament pressure. This victory not only marks her first Triple A Series title, but also secures her entry into the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).

🏆 U21 Boys Champion: Thomas De Klerk

In the Boys’ division, Thomas De Klerk produced a standout final round to lift the trophy. After building momentum steadily through the first two days, Thomas delivered a closing 70, highlighted by five birdies and a superb back nine that sealed his victory.

He faced strong competition from fellow JFGA player Ewan Widor, an M5 student in our Triple A Junior Programme, who impressed with three consistent rounds of 74, 74, and 73 to finish just behind the leader.

🏆 U15 Mixed Category:

The U15 Mixed Category delivered an exciting battle right from the opening round, with three players in close contention for the trophy. After three intense days of competition, Esteban Ledesma — student at the International School of Sotogrande and member of La Cañada Golf Club, our neighboring home club — claimed victory with a steady total of 235 (78, 81, 76).

Hot on his heels was our very own Triple A Junior Student, Ryan Killorn, who showcased great resilience and talent, finishing just two strokes behind with a total of 237 (78, 75, 84).

We extend our warmest congratulations to both Esteban and Ryan for their outstanding performances. Their determination and skill signal a bright future ahead in their golfing journeys.

🌤 Tournament Conditions

Day three brought a change in conditions as the wind eased, offering players an opportunity to attack the course. However, a late-September heatwave added another layer of challenge, testing endurance and course management — key skills required at this level of competitive golf.

🌍 Looking Ahead

Both Maria and Thomas now join the ranks of WAGR-listed players, an achievement that underscores the importance of the Triple A World Junior Golf Series in preparing athletes for the international stage.

Players will now shift their focus to the next event in the Series: the Triple A Championship, once again hosted at the prestigious San Roque Golf & Resort. This second tournament offers a crucial opportunity to build on the momentum of the season opener and strengthen positions in the Order of Merit on the road to the Triple A World Final.
