Day 2 of the Triple A World Final at the San Roque Club Old Course brought a dramatic shift in conditions, with strong winds sweeping across the course — far from what you would typically expect in southern Spain. Players were forced to adapt quickly, showing resilience and creativity as the weather began to play a major role in shaping the leaderboard, with rain also setting the tone heading into the final day.

U21 Boys – Von Hessen Leads After Historic Moment

Tito Von Hessen holds the lead after two rounds now level par, following rounds of 71 and 73. His performance included three birdies and a steady front nine at one under, but the defining moment of not just his round — but the entire tournament — came with a spectacular albatross on Hole 8, a rare and unforgettable highlight.

Tied for second at +3 are Thomas De Klerk, Benjamin Zyla, and Adrian Friis. De Klerk carded three birdies and finished strong with a level-par back nine, while Zyla matched the birdie count to stay firmly in contention. Friis also sits in the tie after producing an eagle on Hole 8, alongside a solid back nine at one under despite difficult conditions.

Thaddeus Huainigg and Alexander Zyla are tied for fifth at +5. Huainigg recorded four birdies across his rounds, while Zyla matched that tally and impressed with a composed back nine at one under, keeping himself within reach heading into the final round.

U21 Girls – Wong Extends Dominant Lead

Sabrina Wong continues to dominate the U21 Girls division, leading the entire field — both boys and girls — with an incredible total of –6 after rounds of 68 and 70. Her second round featured six birdies and remarkable consistency, shooting 35 (-1) on both the front and back nine to extend her advantage.

Siria Ballini sits in second at +4 after a solid round that included a level-par back nine and a standout eagle on Hole 8, keeping her within striking distance.

Ebba Mejer is in third at +10, recording two birdies and an eagle on Hole 17 as she looks to climb the leaderboard on the final day.

Rounding off the top five are Ana Eva Usenik in fourth (+14) and Maria Khristenko in fifth (+16), both battling through the tough conditions to remain in contention.

Special Mentions – More Eagles on a Dramatic Day

Despite the challenging weather, there were still moments of brilliance across the course:

  • Sascha Krohn – Eagle on Hole 8
  • Dawid Wrobel – Eagle on Hole 17

With unpredictable weather, standout moments, and the pressure building, all eyes now turn to the final round — where both the Triple A World Final titles and the 25/26 Order of Merit winners will be decided.
