Last week, the prestigious Triple A European Classic brought together some of the finest junior golfers for an unforgettable tournament at the breathtaking La Hacienda Links Alcaidesa. Over three days of intense competition, the players showcased not only their skills but also their adaptability and resilience.

Thrills on the Final Day

After three gripping rounds, the final leaderboard kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

  • Thaddeus Huainigg, JFGA Academy Student and already WAGR winner, led after Round 2 and delivered an electrifying front nine in the final round, scoring 2 birdies and a spectacular eagle. Despite pressure from the field, Thaddeus stayed consistent and claimed the Triple A European Classic Cup with a well-earned victory.
  • Pedro García, the runner-up, mounted an impressive comeback in the back nine of Round 3, with 4 birdies and an eagle. His determination made for an exhilarating finish, keeping the competition tight right up to the last hole.

In the Girls’ Category, Amanda Revuelta dominated from start to finish. Maintaining her lead across all three rounds, Amanda’s consistent performance earned her a much-deserved victory and the coveted trophy.

Challenges and Triumphs

The weather added an extra layer of difficulty, with varied conditions testing the players’ ability to adapt. From sunshine to wind, every round presented unique challenges that the juniors tackled with grit and determination.

A huge congratulations to all the players who participated and made this tournament one to remember. The Triple A European Classic has once again proven why it is a premier event in junior golf, showcasing incredible talent and sportsmanship on one of Europe’s most beautiful courses.

We can’t wait to continue the competition of the Triple A World Junior Golf Series next year with the first event of 2025 taking place at the famous Real Club de Sotogrande on January 29th to 31st.
