Day 2 began under spectacular conditions: clear skies and calm air that set the stage for some great golf. The players didn’t disappoint.
Girls’ Category
Two names are pulling away at the top. Ashling (142) and defending champion Maria Khristenko (145) have opened a clear gap on the rest of the field, setting up what promises to be a head-to-head duel for the trophy on the final day. Can Maria defend her title, or will Ashling hold her lead?

Right behind them is our future student Larissa Ruby, who held on to third place with a total of 154 (75, 79). Her resilience and competitive spirit have been a pleasure to watch. We also want to highlight a strong comeback from Mirah Mijumbi, who bounced back with a superb 75 in her second round.
Boys’ Category
The boys delivered a remarkable day, with birdies falling all over the course.
Ewan Widor and Javier Perez-Basso share the lead at 134, having combined for an impressive 12 birdies between them. Just three shots back sits Harry Riley at 137, after a brilliant round of 68 featuring an eagle and four birdies.
With 10 players under par after two rounds, the standard of play has been outstanding, and we’d like to give a special mention to every one of them. Everything is still to play for heading into the final day.
