October brings another exciting chapter of junior golf to the Costa del Sol, where sunshine, excellent playing conditions and an average temperature of 22°C provide the perfect backdrop for young golfers to showcase their talent.

At Jason Floyd Golf Academy, we believe in creating the next generation of champions and the Triple A World Junior Series is a key part of that journey.

The Road to the World Final: Round 1

The opening round delivered some outstanding performances, with six junior golfers finishing under par and setting the tone for an exciting week of competition.

Boys’ Category: A Strong Start

Leading the leaderboard after Round 1 are the Widor brothers, who also made their mark in last month’s competition.

Ewan Widor delivered an impressive round of 66 (-6), featuring six birdies, while Sean Widor posted a strong 67 (-5), alongside Javier Pérez Tasso, who also finished with a 67 (-5). Harry Riler completed the leading group with a solid 69 (-3).

With such competitive opening scores, the battle for the top of the leaderboard is already heating up. Who will take control in Round 2?

Girls’ Category: Excellence from the Start

In the girls’ category, Maria Khristenko and Ashling Pyonton share the lead after both carded an excellent level-par round of 72.

We would also like to highlight the impressive performance of Larissa Ruby, one of our Future Programme students, who finished with a 75 (+3), including four birdies. A promising start and a great example of the potential we are proud to nurture at JFGA.

Who Will Make the Move in Round 2?

With the opening round complete, all eyes turn to the leaderboard. Will the leaders extend their advantage, or will new contenders emerge to challenge for the trophy?

Every round brings another opportunity to demonstrate the technical precision, physical preparation and mental resilience that define competitive golf.

Stay tuned as the journey towards the Triple A World Junior Series Final continues.
