The final day of the Triple A European Invitational brought a challenging and memorable conclusion to the first Triple A event of 2026 at the Real Club Sotogrande.
With very difficult weather conditions throughout the day, play was temporarily stopped due to the weather before later resuming so the tournament could be completed. Credit goes to every player for the patience, professionalism and determination shown to finish the tournament in such demanding circumstances.
After three testing days, the final leaderboards reflected both high-quality golf and great resilience from the field.

🏌️♂️U21 Boys – Lukáš Claims the Title After Countback Decision
The Boys U21 division finished in dramatic fashion, with Filip Lukáš and Thaddeus Huainigg ending the tournament tied at the top on +4 (220) after three rounds.
Both players delivered outstanding performances across the week, trading positions at the top and handling the difficult conditions impressively. The title was decided on countback after an exciting battle at the top of the leaderboard being awarded to Filip Lukáš.
Behind the leaders, Josh Harris secured third place on +11 (227) after three consistent rounds.
In fourth place was Javier Perez-Tasso Rodriguez on +13 (229), while Elias Almeling and Ryan Killorn finished tied fifth on +14 (230).
The remainder of the top ten was completed by:
7th – Thomas De Klerk +15 (231)
8th – Fernando Sanchez +16 (232)
T9 – Ewan Widor, Kayden Wissanj and Joel Bracegirdle +17 (233)
A special mention goes to Sean Widor, who recorded the best round of the final day in the U21 Boys category with an excellent 74, a standout performance in extremely tough conditions.

🏌️♀️U21 Girls – Wong Finishes Strong to Secure the Title
In the Girls U21 division, Sabrina Wong delivered an outstanding final round to confirm her place at the top of the leaderboard.
Wong carded her best round of the week, a superb 70, to finish the tournament on -2 (214) overall – the only player to complete the tournament under par. Rounds of 71, 73 and 70 capped off a controlled and confident performance across all three days.
In tied second place on +12 (228) were Siria Ballini and Charlotte Gosling-Evans, both showing excellent consistency throughout the tournament.
Alejandra Hernandez Soto finished fourth on +17 (233), while Stella Vittoria Colombo completed the top five on +18 (234).

🌧 A Memorable End to the First Triple A Event of 2026
Despite stoppages in play and extremely challenging weather conditions, the Triple A European Invitational concluded with outstanding golf, strong sportsmanship and many memorable moments.
