Day 2 of the Triple A European Invitational brought another demanding day of golf at the Real Club Sotogrande, with conditions once again challenging players across both divisions.

After a tough opening round, scoring remained difficult as wind and unsettled weather continued to play a major role. However, several standout performances helped shape the leaderboards, creating clear leaders and setting up an exciting final day.

The day featured some special moments on the course, as both Stella Colombo and Rijk Van Boxsel recorded eagles during their rounds — standout achievements in the challenging conditions. Colombo found the eagle on the 6th hole, while Van Boxsel produced a superb moment on the 14th hole, with both JFGA students delivering highlights that added excitement and quality to an already competitive day.

🏌️ U21 Boys – Lukáš Takes Control & Perez-Tasso Rodriguez Charges Forward

At the top of the Boys U21 leaderboard, Filip Lukáš moved into sole possession of first place after two strong rounds, sitting on -1 (143) overall.

After sharing the lead on Day 1, Lukáš backed it up with another composed performance to take a one-shot advantage heading into the final round. His consistency across two difficult days has placed him in a strong position to challenge for the title.

Just one shot behind in second place on level par (144) is Thaddeus Huainigg, who remains firmly in contention after another steady round. With only a single stroke separating the top two, the battle for first place is finely balanced.

One of the standout rounds of the day came from Javier Perez-Tasso Rodriguez, who climbed into third place after finishing +4 (148) overall. Perez-Tasso Rodriguez produced an excellent 71, under par, in challenging conditions, one of the best rounds of the day, to move himself right into podium contention.

Tied for fourth place on +7 (151) are Joel Bracegirdle and Ryan Killorn, both continuing to show consistency across two demanding rounds.

Just behind them, Josh Harris and Thomas De Klerk sit tied for sixth on +8 (152), keeping themselves within reach as the final day approaches.

Rounding out the top ten are Elias Almeling in eighth on +9 (153), with Ewan Widor and Fernando Sanchez tied for ninth on +11 (155).

With tight gaps throughout the top ten and plenty still to play for, the Boys U21 division is set for an exciting final round.
